Who We Are

LooseWorld started over a decade ago as a creative collective in the spare bedroom of a Manhattan walk-up in the middle of a global recession.

Since then, we’ve evolved into a bicoastal boutique studio with a focus on cultivating creator-driven content from unique and underrepresented voices, telling the stories only they’re equipped to tell.

As a collective of un-fine artists with deep connections across the art, design, and comedy worlds, we’re always excited to collaborate with clients and partners looking to create first of their kind content experiences. We’re tapped into the good, the weird, and the ugly, and we revel in not only identifying new ideas, fresh faces, and emerging spaces but presenting them with mass appeal.

Dane C. Reiley

Founder and Managing Partner

Dane has spent the better part of two decades producing and developing original series for the likes of FX, Netflix, Hulu, and Comedy Central. Highlights include chasing New Yorkers down 23rd Street with Billy Eichner, narrowly avoiding incarceration with Eric Andre and Hannibal Buress, and scheming up fun with the jokers behind Impractical Jokers. In addition to his longform work, Dane has crafted stand-up specials for comedians like Reggie Watts and John Mulaney, branded content for companies like Keystone Light and Capcom, and launched campaigns for shows like GIRLS and How To Make It In America. Sandwiched within all that madness, Dane also spent years as an executive at MTV where he launched numerous unscripted series, produced massive live events, and headed innovative scripted concepts.

Edwin Zane

Head of Long Form

Edwin is a veteran creative executive and producer. He started his career working as Oliver Stone’s assistant during the production of The Joy Luck Club, Natural Born Killers, and Nixon. He then crossed into television to continue his career in development at various networks (FX, USA, SyFy) working on hits like The Shield, Monk, and Battlestar Galactica and even a consultation role on the beloved animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender. On the seller side, he’s developed and produced widely popular documentary series such as The Toys That Made Us, The Movies that Made Us for Netflix, and Pitbulls and Parolees for Animal Planet.

Jesse Goldman

Executive Creative Director

Jesse is a graphic designer, motion graphics animator, tv writer, and creative producer with over 15 years of experience making videos people want to watch. Beginning his career at Comedy Central’s on-air promo team, Jesse went on to produce massively popular video concepts for Funny or Die, BuzzFeed, and Super Deluxe, as well as selling and storyboarding a pilot for Cartoon Network. Throughout his career, Jesse has firmly had one foot in the world of comedy, and the other in design; a sensibility he brings to all projects at LooseWorld.

Matt Leiderman

Head of Short Form

Matt has over 15 years of experience in Commercial and Branded Content production. His work ranges from no-budget music videos to $2 million campaigns, and everything in between: from large-scale TVCs for Nike, Target, Crate & Barrel, and The Gap to socially native content for Google, American Express, and Instagram. Recent projects have seen him discussing the finer points of skywriting budgets, diving into the secret world of NBA body-doubles, and (once) herding pot-bellied pigs through an abandoned factory at 2:00 am.
